Bat Shlomo Regavim Red

Bat Shlomo Regavim

Bat Shlomo Regavim is a polished Israeli red blend from the historic Bat Shlomo Winery, a winery rooted in the Baron Edmond de Rothschild winemaking legacy in northern Israel. The wine is named after the “Regavim” agricultural youth initiative, honoring young volunteers who work the land and vineyards while pursuing educational and personal development.

The current release is built primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon with a smaller portion of Syrah, creating a style that bridges Bordeaux structure with Mediterranean warmth and spice. The 2021 vintage consists of approximately 86% Cabernet Sauvignon and 14% Syrah, aged for about 14 months in French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

Deep ruby in the glass, Regavim opens with aromas of fresh raspberries, ripe plums, black cherry, cedar, herbs, and light baking spice. The palate is medium- to full-bodied with smooth tannins and balanced acidity, showing layers of dark fruit, cocoa, soft oak, and a subtle savory earthiness. The finish is long, polished, and notably approachable even while young.
