Blood Oath Pact No. 12 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Blood Oath Pact No. 12 is the 2026 annual limited release from Lux Row Distillers and Master Distiller/Blender John Rempe. Pact 12 combines 9-year and 12-year ryed bourbons with a 7-year ryed bourbon that receives an unusual double wine-cask finish—first in Montepulciano casks and then Sangiovese casks. 

The result should appeal particularly to drinkers who like richer, fruit-driven finished bourbons. Expect dark cherry and ripe red fruit alongside caramel and vanilla, with leather, cocoa, oak and rye spice providing structure. The Italian wine casks add dark-fruit depth and tannic character without turning this into an overly sweet finished whiskey.
