Segal Unfiltered Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the flagship wines of Segal Winery, produced from carefully selected Cabernet Sauvignon grown in Israel’s higher-elevation vineyards. Created to emphasize concentration, structure and the natural character of the fruit, the wine is bottled without the heavy filtration normally used before bottling, preserving greater texture, color and aromatic intensity.

The 2023 is a rich, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon displaying concentrated aromas of blackberry, black currant and ripe plum complemented by notes of cedar, dark chocolate, tobacco and spice. Extended oak maturation adds depth and structure without overwhelming the ripe fruit, while firm but polished tannins and balanced acidity provide the framework for further development in the bottle.

Powerful yet refined, Segal Unfiltered has long occupied a place among Israel's better-known premium Cabernet Sauvignons. The combination of concentrated fruit, substantial structure and restrained handling before bottling produces a wine that is enjoyable with decanting today but also possesses the depth and tannic backbone necessary for extended cellaring.
