In the 1800s, as the river town of Petersburg, Kentucky, flourishedalong the banks of the Ohio, and the Boone County DistillingCompany blossomed into a prosperous enterprise, there arosemoments that beckoned for serene and understated revelry.Lewis Loder, a Justice of the Peace and bookkeeper for the BooneCounty Distillery, presided over the community's cherishedgathering spot, the White Hall Tavern. There, he would artfullypour fine bourbon over velvety fresh ice cream, and on occasion, elevate this delightful indulgence with a scatteringof chocolate morsels, adding a touch of sweetnessto the occasion. Honoring the legacy of those whopreceded us, we are delighted to revive thistimeless pleasure, inviting today's bourbonaficionados to savor its enduring charm. Cheers!
