Talisker Single Malt Scotch Natural Cask Strength 14 Yr 107.8

Talisker 14 Year Old ‘Molten Seas’ continues the theme of experimental single malts from Skye featuring in the Diageo Special Releases. The 2025 edition was matured in volcanic rock-toasted American oak, giving this whisky an elemental, smoky edge to its maritime character.

Matured for 14 years

Maritime sea spray open the bouquet, unfolding into bonfire ash, cracked black pepper, and liquorice root atop charred oak. Subtle notes of roasted hazelnut and smoked pineapple appear with time.

Palate
Rich and oily in texture, carrying waves of maritime smoke entwined with salted caramel, black pepper, and grilled tropical fruit. A savoury core of seaweed and smoked shellfish lends remarkable depth.

Finish
Lingering heat and smoky embers melt into cracked peppercorn, brine, and a deep, volcanic earthiness.
