Botteotto 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon

Act quickly - this excellent wine is all that is left of this great vintage.

Strictly kosher, mevushal

Intense salmon-pink in color, with generous aromas of sour cherry, strawberry jam & wild herbs. This wine is medium-boiled & fresh, with layers of bright fruit flavor, brisk acidity, & defining minerality that culminate in a long & balanced finish.

M & M teamed up with-the infamous Valle Reale Winery under the directorship of Leonardo Pizzolo. Excellent quality Price Ratio in kosher market and certified organic. Botteotto means barrel number eight and was the barrel that originally contained the wine that inspired the final blend. The grapes for Botteotto are harvested by hand and the various vineyards are vinified separately.

Cabernet Sauvignon is probably the most famous red wine grape variety on Earth. It is rivaled in this regard only by its Bordeaux stablemate Merlot, and its opposite number in Burgundy, Pinot Noir. From its origins in Bordeaux, Cabernet has successfully spread to almost every winegrowing country in the world. It is now the key grape variety in many first-rate New World wine regions, most notably Napa Valley, Coonawarra and Maipo Valley. Wherever they come from, Cabernet Sauvignon wines always seem to demonstrate a handful of common character traits: deep color, good tannin structure, moderate acidity and aromas of blackcurrant, tomato leaf, dark spices and cedarwood.
