Medium to full-bodied. As it opens up in the glass it shows precise, perfectly ripe black currants, wild blueberries as well as tart raspberries and juicy plums, followed by notes of graphite, loamy dirt, earthy minerals and bay leaves and even a touch of saline, medium-plus acidity carries the wine all the way through with firm, grainy tannins that gain in intensity from the mid-palate throughout the long and elegant finish which features notes of walnuts and dark chocolate. Finesse and elegance, this is a textbook Margaux with lots of personality, complexity, as well as a solid aging potential.
