Yamazaki 12 Year Old Single Malt Yellow Box Japanese Whisky
Aged for a minimum of twelve years, this whisky earned the Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2013. Golden honey color, along with a floral aroma that is accented by touches of spice and fruit. Rich and lush, the whisky has notes of dried stone fruits, toffee, buttered toast and pepper on the palate, which lead to a long and profound finish.

The Yellow box is an older edition than the current black box version and was last released in 2017.

The nose features hints of fruit, including peach, grapefruit, pineapple and candied orange, along with spices such as clove and orange. This whisky also has notes of rich coconut and tart cranberry, while the long finish features spicy ginger and cinnamon. This is a whisky made for savoring.
Try it straight, served in a tulip glass or drink it on the rocks, poured over a whisky stone. If you're looking for something bubbly, mix it with club soda to add a hint of brightness to its mellow character and to bring out its oakiness.
