1848 Generations Cab/Merlot Blend 375

1848 Winery 2nd Generation Cabernet Sauvignon–Merlot is a classic Israeli Bordeaux-style blend combining 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. Deep red in color, it offers aromas and flavors of blackcurrant, plum, blackberry and ripe red fruit, accented by green pepper, herbs, vanilla, tobacco and oak. The wine is aged for approximately 10 months in oak barrels, developing a rounded texture while retaining good freshness and balance. Full-flavored with a long, complex finish, it pairs particularly well with roasted meats, tomato-based pasta, poultry and aged cheeses.
