Distillery Background

Daftmill Distillery, established in 2005 by brothers Ian and Francis Cuthbert, operates on a seasonal basis, aligning whisky production with the farming calendar. This approach results in limited annual output, making each release particularly special. The distillery uses unpeated malt and has a maximum production capacity of only 20,000 litres of alcohol per year.

Availability & Collectibility

Given its limited release, the Daftmill 2008 Summer Release has become a sought-after bottle among collectors and enthusiasts. While it may be challenging to find through regular retail channels, it occasionally appears on secondary markets and auctions.
