The Glenlivet 15 Year Old French Oak Reserve is a polished, richer expression of the classic Speyside style, distinguished by its use of French Limousin oak. A portion of the whisky is matured in this dense-grained oak—traditionally associated with fine Cognac—which adds extra spice, structure, and depth while preserving Glenlivet’s characteristic fruit-forward elegance.

The nose opens with ripe orchard fruit, sweet citrus, vanilla, and gentle cinnamon. On the palate, notes of baked apple, pear, toasted almond, creamy vanilla, and warm baking spices develop alongside subtle oak and a touch of dark chocolate. The finish is smooth and lingering, with sweet fruit, spice, and pleasantly dry oak.
