Released to commemorate the250th anniversary of American independence, this special Rittenhouse expression takes one of America’s classic rye whiskey names and gives it a significantly older, limited-edition treatment. Rittenhouse traces its identity to Pennsylvania’s historic rye tradition, and the commemorative bottle emphasizes those roots with Liberty Bell imagery and prominent1776–2026 markings.

For this release, Heaven Hill selected just90 barrels of rye matured for a full10 years across multiple rickhouses and floors. The whiskey uses a mash bill of51% rye, 35% corn and 14% malted barley, is bottled without chill filtration, and carries the Bottled-in-Bond designation at the mandated100 proof. The decade of maturation gives the familiar Rittenhouse style considerably more depth, bringing together caramel and dark fruit sweetness with rye spice, toasted oak, citrus, mint and baking spice.

The result is richer and more contemplative than the everyday Rittenhouse Bottled-in-Bond, while retaining the balance between sweetness and spice that has made Rittenhouse such an enduring American rye.
