The winery boasts a rich history, dating back centuries before its restoration in 1998. Local tradition honors Rabbi Reb Shayale, who generously provided food to the region’s winemakers, embodying the spirit of kindness that still defines the estate. Situated in the heart of Bodrogkeresztúr village, the beautifully restored winery and 18th-century Steiner mansion are part of a renowned pilgrimage site, home to the Kever of Rabbi Reb Shayele Steiner.

Golden color with aromas of mandarin, marmalade, and elderflower. The palate is rich with dried fruits, balanced by refined acidity. A finely crafted wine, ethereal as lace, with a long, elegant finish. Our vineyard, near R’ Shayaleh’s home in Kerestir, Hungary, continues his legacy of warmth and hospitality. The revered rabbi welcomed our winemakers with comforting food and kindness.
